Bannockburn 1314 Shiraz 2025

1314 Shiraz is made from fruit grown on the Range and Winery Block vineyards, planted in 1974, 1990 and 1996. The 2025 vintage is a barrel selection based on an earlier bottling regime and a younger drinking window. Vibrant inky crimson in appearance, the nose is aromatic and expressive, showing ripe plums, dark cherries, meaty and savory notes, hints of blood, perfumed violet, and subtle spice. The palate is plush and juicy, layered with dark fruit, peppery spice, and a fine dusting of tannin that provides structure. A touch of earthy minerality add complexity, while the wine’s youthful energy carries through to a long, textural, and vibrant finish.
