"The poor vineyard suffered in 2022 with the rain and hail, as such, we were unable to make any wine from this site. BUT! We are back at it in 2023, with a much more svelte Mataro we are calling ‘Soul Control’, because once you sip, it’ll take control of you. It’s insanely good.
Vineyards planted in 1980 bring wonderful age and complexity, a respectable 12.2% on the alcohol makes sure the luscious fruit is in check and not pokey or angular, and with just 10 days of maceration on the skins in the winery, its plush yet sinewy with a soft, papery tannin coming through.

Sold in 3 litre casks, equivalent to 4 bottles, and able to be kept for 6-8 weeks after opening!
