Heroes Vineyard Anti-Hero Coola Road Pinot Noir 2024

From an emerging wine region, just over the border into South Australia, we sought our Coola Rd, wanting to explore new expressions of Pinot Noir. The soils here are limestone, littered with flint rocks, and though it is a warmer site than the Otways, the climate here is very maritime, with almost constant sea breezes keeping temperatures moderate.  Picked on the 17^th March, fermented with 20% whole bunches and matured for ten months in hogsheads, with 20%  percent new. 12.6% alc.  320 cases made.
