Kitajima Sea Salt Yuzushu 720ml

Kitajima Sake Brewery was established in 1805 and is one of Japan's oldest and most respected sake breweries, situated in the beautiful Shiga Prefecture near Lake Biwa. Their highly crafted range is unique and distinctive with a palate that is much richer and fruitier than the average sake. 

Made using local sake, small additions of sea salt and four times the yuzu of regular yuzushu. Aromas of grapefruit and lemon butter, with tart flavours of unsweetened homemade lemonade.

Nose: Fresh grapefruit and lemon butter.

Palate: Homemade lemonade, rich un-tart citrus.

Finish: Fresh citrus peel with a lick of salt.

Chill and enjoy by itself, on the rocks, or with prosecco to make a delicious spritz
