Signor Vino Nero d'Avola 2022

The 2022 vintage from Riverina, NSW pours a vibrant ruby red and opens with exotic spice aromas layered over earthy, meaty undertones. On the palate, bright red fruits like cherry, red currant and pomegranate take the lead, complemented by savoury notes of roast tomato, baked quince and a hint of dried herbs.

This wine is made to drink now but will reward cellaring for up to seven years. Best enjoyed with antipasti, roast vegetables, oxtail or slow cooked barbecue meats. A well-balanced and food-friendly red with both freshness and depth.
